![]() If you are using sub folder for your mods (folders within folders) then you will need to adjust your resource.cfg so it can read sub folders. package files into the Packages folder and they should work in game. Note: If you receive a security warning such as this, click KEEP. Download the resource.cfg file and place it in the Mods folder (not in the Packages folder): Resource.cfg. In this Mods folder create again a new folder and name it Packages. While still in the Mods folder, create a new folder called Packages. In the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder, create a new folder and name it Mods. Get the resource.cfg file and place it in the Mods folder. Do same with Tray folder if you have stuff in that, also all mods but do not replace the newly built resource.cfg file, finally any game config files for your preferred setup.ĥ.Start game again and hopefully all mods are now showing and working. Unzip it (try doing 'extract here' or 'unzip here', might work better).
